Quote an earlier message in a reply

Quoted replies are available in the team Inbox, website Widget, mobile inbox, and React Native chat screen.

Quote a message

1. Open the message actions on desktop, or long-press the message on touch devices.
2. Choose Reply or Quote.
3. Check the quoted preview above the composer, then write and send your response.

Select a quote inside the conversation to jump back to the original message. Chatting briefly highlights it so longer threads remain easy to follow.

To change your mind before sending, remove the quote from the composer. This leaves your draft text intact.
