Publish a customer Help Center

Create categories and answers visitors can use before they start a chat.

Updated August 2026 · About 2 min read

Owners and admins can build a customer-facing knowledge base from Settings → Help Center.

Publish your first answers

  1. Create categories around customer tasks, not internal departments.
  2. Add an article with a direct title, short opening answer, and scannable steps.
  3. Publish the article and open its public URL to check formatting.
  4. In Help Center, open Settings and choose whether visitors can browse it from the widget.

Public Help Centers include category pages, article search, related answers, helpfulness feedback, and a path back to a human conversation.

Growth workspaces can review Suggested articles created from recurring resolved-chat knowledge gaps. Treat suggestions as drafts: verify the answer, remove private conversation details, then publish.
